Role description

This full-time hybrid role as an Agency Sales Representative is based in McKinney, TX, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements and travel across the Texoma territory (Texas and Oklahoma). The representative will focus on building client relationships, engaging with potential clients, and educating them about Colonial Life’s workplace benefits.

Day-to-day tasks include prospecting new accounts, presenting tailored benefit solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to provide ongoing client support. The role involves participation in sales strategy development and execution while ensuring high levels of professionalism and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
  • Sales and client acquisition skills, including prospecting, solution selling, and relationship management
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills for managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Familiarity with workplace insurance benefits and an understanding of supporting technologies is a plus
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proficiency with tools such as CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
